WHAT: Dior Homme Fall 2010

WEAR: Dior Homme
WHY: It is still hard to erase the memory of Hedi Slimane from Dior Homme, but it is necessary to understand the direction the design is going in. Kris Van Assche stays true to who he is as a designer, while still offering some bits that will stay with the house forever (slim cut suits). Plenty of sweeping coats took to the runway over layers of comfy looking separates. The outerwear, as with most FW collections, had a strong presence and I loved the trench detailing on the coats done in wool. Below are my favorite looks from the collection.
